Haldi, Mehndi & Sangeet in Delhi NCR & across India

Haldi moves quickly once the first bowl comes out. Mehndi usually has a slower rhythm, with guests arriving in waves and the couple often seated for long stretches. We photograph each differently, rather than asking both functions to follow the same shot list.

For haldi, we plan angles around the seating and available light, leaving room for family to gather. At mehndi, we look for conversations, hands at work, outfit details and reactions across the room. As your haldi mehndi photographer, we also suggest a short window for portraits before things get busy. You get photographs together without repeatedly stepping away from your own celebration.

A sangeet needs more than a camera pointed at the stage. We want the choreography, but also your parents watching from the front row, friends calling out from the tables and the relieved laughter after a difficult step lands.

Sharing the performance order beforehand helps us plan camera positions and coordinate audio access with your entertainment team. Tell us about surprise entries privately, too. For cocktail coverage, we balance portraits and guest interactions with the changing pace of the dance floor. Stage lighting and dim rooms need different approaches; discussing the setup early helps us work with the atmosphere rather than interrupt it.

Coverage brings together photographs, films and quick edits, with the scope agreed around your function timings and the team needed on site.

• Vibrant candids: expressions, family interactions, rituals and the colour of each gathering, alongside planned couple and group photographs.
• Dance and performance films: coverage of the routines and reactions you want to revisit, with performance priorities and audio arrangements discussed beforehand.
• Same-day reels: short edits for sharing while the celebrations are still underway, with the number, format and delivery window agreed in advance.

If two functions overlap, or preparations happen away from the main venue, let us know early. That helps us recommend coverage without leaving important moments unattended.

Start with your function dates, locations and approximate guest count. Then tell us what matters most: a grandmother applying haldi, a mehndi gathering at home, every sangeet performance or an evening spent with friends. Those details are more useful than a long list of reference images alone.

We cover Delhi NCR and travel for destination weddings across India. For celebrations spread across venues, we discuss travel time, access and team movement before finalising the plan. We can also help you choose between The Wedding Forever’s luxury heritage direction and TWF Studios’ modern candid approach. The aim is a clear brief, realistic portrait windows and fewer photography decisions for you during the functions.
